Central Square World's Fair
Morphine on stage at Central Square World’s Fair, June 6, 1999.
"Every year the Central Square World's Fair was something that we planned Morphine's schedule around. It was very important to Mark and the band to honor their hometown and give back a free show to the people who helped start it all. It was such a thrill to see the entire street filled up as far as the eye could see with local Morphine fans. The crowds had grown and this year was the biggest yet. It was just before they left for Europe and it would be the last show they would play in the square that would bear his name." - Deb Klein, Band Manager
