"Morpheus"

Short story "Morpheus" written by Mark Sandman while at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, 1979. The story includes a note for the reader that describe some of Mark's thematic intent. 

"Was there safety in numbers or just assured mutual destruction? Were the legions of struggling young men, injected into businesses and governments, saddled with debts and responsibilities and lured with promises of rosy futures, really any more secure than those on the edges?"
