String Section
Mark assembled a string trio to record the album with frequent collaborator and Hypnosonics member Mike Rivard on double bass, Joe Kessler on violin, and Jane Scarpantoni on cello. Since Mark favored improvisation, there were no charts written. Instead, he would sing ideas and the players would improvise in a very collaborative process.
