Watercolor Portraits
Mark loved to spend down time on the road painting. Here is a selection of his self-portraits and those of drummer Billy Conway, sound engineer Phil Davidson, road manager Mark Hamilton, saxophonist Dana Colley and Tom Barman, frontman for the band dEUS, who toured with Morphine. Notice Mark’s prophetic painting of two drummers (Billy Conway and Jerome Deupree) who would end up playing together on Morphine's final album, The Night, along with the wireless amp, taxi mic and single string on his guitar.
